Sligo Golf Academy (SGA) is Ireland’s best equipped driving range and golf practice centre. It’s located in Ransboro, Strandhill, just 5 minutes from Sligo Town and convenient to all six Sligo golf courses.

SGA gives golfers just what they need to practice and improve every shot they’ll use on a golf course. All equipment (including clubs) is available for rental so it’s suitable for beginners as well as improvers and serious golfers.

How we started

Tommie Bree was a dairy farmer who took up golf five years ago along with his son Luke. They looked for somewhere to practice and quickly realised there was a gap in the market for a top quality golf facility in Sligo. Their passion led to swapping their farming life for a new sporting life and Sligo Golf Academy was born.

Their vision is to develop the sport of golf along with the local golf courses, introducing more people to the sport and raising standards. Now all they want is some time to work on their own games!
